The glorious musical journey has finally come to an end with the death (on 26 June, 2009) of Michael Jackson, an undisputed leader of pop musical genre. Though the exact cause of his death has still remained unclear, a cardiac attack is said to be the cause of his untimely death reports media. Michael Jackson is one of those enigmatic figures, who have earned both reputations and criticisms from different source for leading a mysterious lifestyle. Besides being a brilliant performer and a memorizing singer, he has been touted as the best entertain of the entire world. Though he has lived a short life, it was enough for him to create a history of his own that will be remembered by people in the years to come. His legacy will continue to inspire people and musical lovers to rise above ordinary circumstances.

He life was cut short by death just when he was toiling hard for his comeback series “This Is It”. He had dazzled the pop music industry with his signature voice and feverish dancing style. In his heydays, he was ranked with all time greatest pop sensations- The Beatles and Elvis Presley. Michael has started his musical journey the late 1960s along with his four brothers. They formed a musical band named Jackson 5 and the leading singer of this band was none other than Jackson himself. His popularity soon skyrocketed and they have successfully produced some chartbuster hits of all time. Some of them are “ABC”, “I Want You Back” etc. However, he came to the fore of the musical industry with his blockbuster hit of all time - “Thriller” which was released in 1982. It is considered to be the best selling musical album of all time.

However, success was soon followed by a series of controversies, which had dented his public images to some extent. His ever-changing physical appearance has fuelled many a speculations. His bizarre life style, his bad temper often led him to unnecessary controversies. The latest addiction was the charge of child molestation. It has tarnished his reputation and has demoralized him to some extent. However, he was cleared of these charged soon enough. Just when he was trying to overcome these controversies with his comeback series, death snatched away his life.
